Back to Basics: Tenant & Resident Safety – Overview of Compliance

Session Overview

This short, knowledge building ‘Back to Basics’ session has been designed to provide a great introductory overview of tenant and resident safety for social landlords in Scotland. It looks at the responsibilities held by the landlord to ensure the safety of tenants and residents, specifically around the ‘big 6’ elements.
We take consideration of the Regulator position with regards to tenant and resident safety and also look at the SHQS requirements to provide some of the key objectives that social landlords must achieve with regards to compliance with legislation and standards.
