Scotland Safety Network Advisory Panel (SSNAP)
The Social Housing Safety Network Scotland is an innovative, tenant and resident safety network with around 50 members (and growing) across Scotland. The network was developed from ‘scratch’ by a small group of safety specialists and is dedicated to tenant and resident safety in Scotland.
The Scotland Safety Network Advisory Panel (SSNAP) is formed of the co-founders of the Network alongside a small group of tenant and resident / compliance / health and safety colleagues from within member organisations operating in the social housing sector who have volunteered to help shape the network, bringing ideas and expertise together to drive the network forward.
Members of the Advisory Panel include the co-founders of the Network:
- Vicki Cutler - Ryan Hodgson
- Matt Dawes - Louise Burgess
Sector colleagues, chosen from those who applied to help shape the Network:
- Grant Clayton, Director, West Whitlawburn Housing Co-operative
- Robert Clegg, Director of Property Services, Whiteinch & Scotstoun Housing Association
- Kirsty Edgar, Maintenance Officer, East Kilbride Housing Association
- Emma Scott, Asset Manager, Cassiltoun Housing Association
- Mark Taylor, Health & Safety Manager, Cairn Housing Association
- Joanna Voisey, Head of Assets and Sustainability, Berwickshire Housing Association
- John Watson, Property Services Manager (Asset Management), Thenue Housing Association
The Network will meet regularly to develop good practice and share ideas, support the development of training events and member briefings that look at specific issues affecting the social housing sector in Scotland. We want to develop a worthwhile Group that will benefit all of our members, but most of all we want to bring colleagues in the sector together, to network and learn from each other.
